How to use the TR3 Transmitter hands-free & Other Tips

  • Plug the transmitter into the wall socket and to the side of the transmitter, you can turn it on. You will see a channel number on the screen. by pressing the channel button you can change the channel (this is necessary if you are using several transmitters (they all have to be on different channels) to a maximum of 3.

  • You can also Fully Charge the TR3 Transmitter (it can last up to 10 hours on a full charge) so it does not need to be plugged into a wall socket.

  • Pairing your device to the transmitter: You can use bluetooth or you can connect your mobile device using the cable provided. With the cable option, there is less chance of interference.

  • For both of these connection options, you must set your phone to aeroplane mode to avoid any notifications being transmitted. Your playlist will need to be offline for this.

  • To connect your device (such as a mobile phone) using Bluetooth, hold down the 'Bluetooth' button on the transmitter. When the coloured indicator light begins to flash, you can connect your device (search for Bluetooth connections on your device and select TX-60RF). The transmitter and your device should now be paired.

  • If you prefer to connect your music device via the cable. connect the black 'aux' cable (using the 3.5mm jack) to the side of the transmitter and if the mobile device you are using has an audio input, you can connect it to the other end of the cable. If you are using a newer iphone (or other make that doesn't have this jack), you can use one of the provided adapters.

  • If using our microphones to transmit speach, you can use the 3.5mm jack input with the microphone directly.

  • You will need a seperate music device/microphone for each transmitter you use (up to a maximum of 3 transmitters).

  • You will need a seperate music playlist for each transmitter. If you're using a Spotify playlist and have a 'family account' you can use one account for multiple transmitter channels (logged in using a different device for each transmitter).

  • Make sure you turn up the volume to the highest setting on your device. The wearers of the wireless headphones can then select the volume which is comfortable for them directly on the right side of the headphone.

  • The transmitter devices and headphones cannot withstand water or sand ingress.

  • The headphones can be switched on using the switch at the bottom of the headphone on the left side.

  • There is a switch on the side of the headphone to the left which allows the wearer to switch between the channels, which will light up and indicate which playlist the wearer is listening to (red, Green or Blue).

  • If you are using a spotify playlist you can merge the songs into each other. GO to the home screen on spotify, settings, playback and under 'skip songs' select 7 seconds. This way there will be no pause between songs.

  • If you are changing a connected device, make sure the Bluetooth connection is deleted on the old device before connecting another device via bluetooth.
