Follow our step-by-step picture guide to set up the Silent Disco headphones and transmitters.

How to use the TR3 Transmitter hands-free & Other Tips

  • Fully Charge the TR3 Transmitter (it can last up to 10 hours on a full charge)

  • Turn on the TR3 Transmitter using the on/Off switch on the side.

  • The number displayed on the screen is the transmitting channel. Press the 'Channel' button to change the number of the channel on the screen (this is necessary if you are using one or more transmitters - maximum of 3).

  • To connect your music device (such as a mobile phone) using Bluetooth, hold down the 'Bluetooth' button on the transmitter. When the coloured indicator light begins to flash, you can connect your device (search for Bluetooth connections and select TX-60RF). The transmitter and your device are now paired.

  • If using a mobile phone to connect to the transmitter, you should set your phone to 'Airplane Mode' to avoid any notifications being transmitted. Your playlist will need to be offline for this.

  • If you prefer to connect your music device via an 'aux in' cable using the 3.5mm jack at the side of the transmitter, this is also possible.

  • If using our microphones to transmit speach, you can use the 3.5mm jack input with the microphone directly.

  • You will need a seperate music device/microphone for each transmitter you use (up to a maximum of 3 transmitters).

  • You will need a seperate music playlist for each transmitter. If you're using a Spotify playlist and have a 'family account' you can use one account for multiple transmitter channels (logged in using a different device for each transmitter).

  • Make sure you turn up the volume to the highest setting on your device. The wearers of the wireless headphones can then select the volume which is comfortable for them directly on the right side of the headphone.

  • The transmitter devices and headphones cannot withstand water or sand ingress.

  • The headphones can be switched on using the switch at the bottom of the headphone on the left side.

  • There is a switch on the side of the headphone to the left which allows the wearer to switch between the channels.
